According to statistical analysis by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in March 2023, the automobile terminal market was still relatively weak, domestic effective demand has not yet been fully released, corporate operating pressure is great, and the task of stabilizing growth in the industry is very arduous.
In March 2023, automobile production and sales completed 2.584 million units and 2.451 million units respectively, a month-on-month increase of 27.2% and 24% respectively, and a year-on-year increase of 15.3% and 9.7% respectively.
From January to March 2023, automobile production and sales completed 6.21 million units and 6.076 million units respectively, a year-on-year decrease of 4.3% and 6.7% respectively.
In March 2023, the production and sales of passenger cars were 2.149 million and 2.017 million respectively, an increase of 25.3% and 22% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 14.3% and 8.2% respectively.
From January to March 2023, the production and sales of passenger cars were 5.262 million units and 5.138 million units respectively, a year-on-year decrease of 4.3% and 7.3% respectively.
In March 2023, commercial vehicle production and sales reached 434,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 37.1% and 34.2% respectively, and a year-on-year increase of 20.4% and 17.4% respectively.
From January to March 2023, commercial vehicle production and sales completed 948,000 units and 938,000 units respectively, down 3.9% and 2.9% respectively year-on-year.
In March 2023, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 674,000 and 653,000 respectively, representing month-on-month increases of 22% and 24.4%, respectively, and year-on-year increases of 44.8% and 34.8%.
From January to March 2023, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 1.65 million and 1.586 million respectively, a year-on-year increase of 27.7% and 26.2% respectively, and the market share reached 26.1%.
