According to the automobile industry prosperity evaluation index system, the research results show that:
1. The automobile industry climate index ACI in the first quarter was 34, which was a significant decrease of 22 points compared with the fourth quarter of 2022. It was in the light blue light area and was running in the cooling range.
2. In the first quarter of 2023, the unanimous composite index of the automobile industry was 83.75 (2010=100), a decrease of 8.87 points from the previous quarter.
3. The leading composite index was 89.56 (2010=100), an increase of 4.66 points from the previous quarter.


The results of the China Automobile Industry Prosperity Index in the first quarter are summarized as follows:
Taken together, the automobile industry climate index ACI in the first quarter was 34, 22 points lower than the fourth quarter of 2022, and was in the light blue light area, running in the cooling range.
Specifically: the unanimous composite index of the automobile industry dropped by 8.87 points from the previous quarter, and the automobile industry was running at a low level this quarter; the leading composite index increased significantly by 4.66 points, indicating that the automobile industry will have a significant positive trend in the future.
